The office of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam declared the results of High School Leaving Certificate examination (HSLC) 2012 exam results and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examination results on Friday.

HSLC exam 2012 went trough lots of controversies which includes the wrong set of question papers for General Science which leads to the rescheduling of the exam. Besides that some of the answer papers were destroyed by cows at an evaluation center, Goalpara, which made the results announcement delayed. The HSLC results were declared on May 27 last year but this time, it delayed because of these reasons.
The dispatching of results to different centers started on Tuesday and all the result sheets were reached in all the 51 zones by Thursday from the SEBA office. One of the SEBA official said that the officials were working very hard, even on holidays to finish the work on time since there were some goof ups this time. The officials were taking extra care to ensure that no more errors take place.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam also known as SEBA is the state authority which responsible for conducting exams and provide the quality education in Schools within Assam. High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) is the award given through this authority to the 10 standard students who have passed examination successfully.
