BSEB – Bihar School Examination Board – biharboard.bih.nic.in

The Bihar School Examination Board also known as BSEB is a state board responsible to conduct the examination in higher secondary stage in the Bihar State. The board decides the course of studies for higher secondary level examination in all the three streams; science, commerce and arts.

Other than the Secondary School Examination, the BSEB also responsible to conduct the examinations like Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training. These departmental examinations are not held on yearly basis but according to terms and condition by the State Government.

The BSEB condudcts the Secondary School Examination every year in the February/march month and Supplimentary School Examination in August/September month. The examination take place on the basis of the syllabus set down by the Bihar state government. Around three and a half lakh students appeared for the Intermediate 12th examination in 2012 and the results were announced on 5 June, 2012. The result declaration allows the students to apply for various graduate courses in the colleges.
