Contestants List of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5

Dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5will go on air on Colors, instead of Sony from June 16, Saturday. The show is originally based on international format Dancing With the Stars. The people who judging the fifth season of JDJ are last season’s judge Madhuri Dixit (Actress), Remo D’Souza (choreographer, film director) and Karan Johar (Director, Producer). The hosts of the show will be Ragini Khanna and Manish Paul. There will be total 12 celebrity contestants will be take part in the show this year. Let’s have a look on the 12 celebrity contestants who are going to shake a leg with their dancing partners and their first look in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Sanath Jayasuriya (Cricketer)

The former Sri Lankan all-rounder is ready to shake his legs on JDJ 5. We have seen his magic on the cricket filed but can he score the points on the dancing floor?

Isha Sharwani (Actress)

The Bollywood actress Isha Sharwani is paired with a reality show winner Salman.  As Isha being herself a seasoned dancer and Salman a dance show winner, this is a lethal combination and a Jodi to watch out for.

Darsheel Safary (Actor)

Darsheel won everyone’s heart by acting as a dyslexic kid in Taare Zameen Par. As paired with Avneet Kaur, someone of the same age let’s watch for what these kids are all set to bring to the dance floor.

Ravi Kishan (Actor)

Bhojpuri actor and former Big Boss (Season 1)  contestant will be shaking his booty with much younger choreographer, Kunjan. Hope he won’t stick with only Bhojpuri numbers.

Talat Aziz (Singer)

It seems the Ghazal singer wanted to try something drastically different.

Archana Vijaya (TV Anchor)

This leggy lass entertained us with her anchoring in IPL seasons. But will she do the justice to the dance floor? Let’s wait and watch. She is paired with choreographer Sanam Johar.

Jiaa Manek (TV Actress)

Jiaa was on the news when the producers of Saath Nibhana Saathiya removed her from the show because of her participation in JDJ. Only time will tell whether her decision was worth.

Gurmeet Choudhary (TV Actor)

The TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary is all set to show his macho moves in JDJ 5.

Pratyusha Banerjee (TV Actress)

Dadisa’s obedient bahu in Balika Vadhu, Pratyusha is ready to rock the dance floor on the JDJ.

Shibani Dandekar (TV Anchor/Singer)

A model, singer and IPL 5 host Shibani Dandekar is paired with former Dance India Dance contestant Punit. This girl’s glam look will surely helps to increase the popularity of the show.

Jayati Bhatia (TV Actress)

Hope the veteran actress can prove that age is no factor to rock the dance floor.

Bharti Singh (Comedian)

We appreciate her talents as a stand up comedian, but we wonder why she is in a dance reality show? Hope she can keep the entertainment factor in the show. Meanwhile, only we can say is sorry Savio.
