At the time of application submission colleges will collect Rs. 20 from the applicant. Colleges are responsible to issue the acknowledgement and receipt to the students after the collection of the form and money. The receipt number should be mentioned on the application form. Sale or distribution of the prospectus is strictly prohibited by the board.
The objective of the new procedure to ensure the transparency in applications and allotment of the seats. Colleges now should display to public the availability of the seats, fee structure, seat matrix and the details of applicants selected in each first, second, third list.
Earlier the board prescribed cost of application form were Rs. 21 but colleges were charging by their own interest. This is one of the main reason the common form for admission application is introduced. This year the form price has been reduced by Rs. 1 because colleges need not to print the form this time.
