The answer key of the NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) 2012 is is made available by the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). About 5 Lakh students took the exam which held on 13th May, 2012.
The students can check the answer key on on NCERT’s website – www.ncert.nic.in.
There are two sections involved in the NTSE paper, one is Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the other one is Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). The answer key is uploaded in the website for both the sections.
NCERT decided to put the answer key in public to help the aspirants to evaluate their performance themselves. It will also benefits the candidates who took the exam in coming year.
The students can go through this key to self-assess their performance and NCERT requested to mail the feedback of the system by July 15, 2012. NTS examination is the oldest national scholarship programme which is conducting by NCERT since last five decades. The exam is for the students who studying in the class VIII. The objective of the exam is to identify and nurture the talent across the nation.
Since 2010 students were allowed to take the question papers home and this year onward NCERT decided to put the answer key also on their website.
