Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) had released a notification for various posts in the month of May, 2012. The recruitment was for Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Assistant Manager, Safety Officer, Accounts Officer, Law Officer, Revenue Accountant, Divisional Accountant, etc.
The minimum education qualification to apply for the posts were graduate in any stream from a recognized university. Thousands of people were applied and appeared for the written excam conducted by PSPCL in June, 2012.
PSPCL is expected to release the results of the written exam in few days. The result will be available on the PSPCL official website – PSPCL Website

In 2010, Unjab Government unbundled Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) into two different companies. They are Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (POWERCOM) and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (TRANSCO).
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) is a power company unbundled from Punjab State Electricity Board. Before this unbundling the organization was known as PSEB. Governor of Punjab appoints the Chairman, Managing Directors and Directors of the company. The appointment is for 1 year from the date of joining. Er. K.D.Chaudhri is the current CMD of PSPL.
