Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Government of India will be announcing the results of SSC Combined Graduate Level (Tier 1) exam 2012 by the month of August. The SSC CGL Tier 1 results will be declared at the official website of SSC.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted on the first week of July 2012. Around 2 Lakh candidates took part in the written exam all across India.
There were four subjects in the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. All the question were in objective type multiple choice.
Staff Selection Commission scheduled the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination for September 15 and 16. Only those students, who have scored above the cut-off marks fixed by the SSC can be appear for the Tier 2 examination.
The main objective of the Tier 1 exam is to choose the candidates for appearing in Tier-2 examination, however the marks of such selected candidates in Tier-1 will be considered for the final ranking of the candidates to select them for interview and selection.
The exact date of the result announcement is not declared yet. So keep an eye on this page for this updates.

you have to go in 5th class to improve your speaking knowledge and try hard to get success in ssc. because u are getting very poor score . 195-200= -5 . ssc will not allow u to take part in next exam.

hello sir i am manikanta i recived my hallticket through postal on 7/8/2012 i attended ssc tire 1 exam .A mistake in hall ticket my category is ”oc” but in hall ticket category coloum shows ”OBC” & i prefer post inspector of IT in my application i send my applicatiopn through postal. i send 2 mail for change my category & show post preference one mail on 10/8/2012 another one on 12/8/2012 but their is no replya.After few days i send a letter on 24/2/8/2012 also no reply .i requesting u sir please change my category & post preference pls reply to my mail vannemreddy.manikanta@gmail.com

I HAD CLEARED LAST YEAR SSC EXAM, AND SSC HAS OFFERED ME INSPECTER(CENTRAL EXCISE).
SSC is going to declare the combined graduate level 2012 result around 15 august. As this year 12 lac candidates appeared, which is almost double of last year, last year 6.5 lac candidates have appeared in cgl tier-1. And, 90 thousand candidates were selected for tier 2,and , this year around 1.5 lac candidates will be selected for tier-2.
Due to the toughness of tier 1 exam and huge no. of appeared candidates, this year cut-off for general would be around 85 to 95. So, if u are getting above 85 ,you must start preparing for the tier 2 exam, which is going to be held on 15 and 16 of september. best of luck.

don’t think much on this tier1 result…… just be ready for tier2 exam….. tier1 has finished on 8th july only….. its just an announcement of your result…. there is no use for discussing on result…. instead of this, u can go for a discuss on tier2 questionnaire…. just be ready for next session….
