Indian child actor Taruni Sachdev killed in Nepal plane crash. The 14 year old girl is known to people with her acting in the movie ‘Paa’ and Rasna ads. She also acted in numerous south language films. She has done more than 50 commercials including one with Karishma Kapoor.
Taruni’s mom Geeta Sachdev also killed in the crash happened on Monday. The ill-fated plane belongs to Agni Air had 18 passengers and 3 crews on board. There are 13 Indians died in the accident, 7 from Mumbai itself.
The small Dornier aircraft crashed when trying to land at the high altitude Jomsom Airport. The plane turned in pieces but didn’t catch the fire. The dead bodies of Pilot Prabhusharan Pathak and Co-pilot JD Maharjan were also recovered from the spot.
Taruni achieved the fame when she was just 5 years old. She was introduced in Silver screen through Bol Baby Bol a show by STAR Plus. Then the next 2 years were hectic for the star kid. She has done several commercials for VIP Luggage, Colgate, ICICI Bank, Saffola, and many other during this period.
She got the real hype when the Rasna ads happened. Mainly because the ad were with Karishma Kapoor. Taruni won the hearts with her ‘I love you Rasna’ dialogue. She has acted in two Malayalam movies, Vellinakshatram and Sathyam in 2004. She also appeared on a reality quiz show ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?’ by Shah Rukh Khan. She then acted in the movie ‘Paa’ along with none other than Amitabh Bachchan.
