West Bengal Post Office Recruitment 2012 – www.indiapost.gov.in

Department of Posts (Government of India) invited applications from the eligible candidates for various vacancies in the West Bengal circle. West Bengal Post Office recruitment 2012 is for the vacancies of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants and Postal Assistants in Savings Bank Control Organization.

There will be two examinations in the selection process. Paper-I will be an Aptitute test with a total of 100 marks. The duration of this examination will be 120 minutes. Paper-II will be a Computer/Typing test to check the typing speed.

The application form available for a price of Rs. 50 from the Post Office. The forms are currently available and final date to get the form is 25 September, 2012.

The last date for the receipt of Application is 01 October, 2012. The examination dates are yet to be announced.

Examination fee is Rs. 200. No fee is applicable for female candidates and SC/ST.

Educational qualification

The minimum education qualification required to apply for the vacancy is 10+2 or 12th class with at least 60% passing marks.

Age Limit

The age limit to apply for the job is 18-27 years.
